Screen Shot 2016-06-06 at 6.29.30 AM

The two eaglets this morning, after Sunday’s rain. The wet nest is almost as dark as the two young. One eaglet has been “wingercising” a lot this morning.

The eaglets are now approximately 10 weeks old.

Both are  females, banded four weeks ago.

The young birds will likely leave the nest sometime in the next two weeks or so, when they are large enough and strong enough. This typically comes later in the month.
