Bald Eagle Update for Week of May 30

The  eaglets are now approximately nine weeks old.  Both are  females, banded three weeks ago.

The young birds stay in the nest for another one to three weeks, until they are large enough and strong enough to leave (fledge). This is typically later in the month.
